∙ Develop, implement, run, and support every aspect of the Counseling Program
∙ Recruit, interview, hire, and manage 25-32 mental health interns and volunteers at any given time

∙ Perform audits of both supervisors and students in placements as quality control, in order to identify and develop support plans for individuals who may need it, temporarily or long-term
∙ Engage in project development and deployment, regardless of program
∙ Foster a community culture of feedback across the agency, although focused in the Counseling Program

MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM ASSISTANT | GENDER HEALTH CENTER | MAY 13, 2016 – APRIL, 1 2017
∙ Provided support for the Director of Mental Health programming at Gender Health Center, including:
– creating a centralized resource and procedure manual in wiki format
– re-evaluation and re-designing all necessary forms for the Mental Health Program – Performing independent mental health evaluations
– Providing letters of support to community members seeking transgender care related medical services
– Providing support and training to student clinicians
– Designing more long-term solutions to the rapid organizational expansion the program has seen – Performing physical file audit for the entire agency as part of the transition to digital record keeping
– Serving as point person for counselors/trainees/interns for the conversion to a digital filing system, as well as other agency-related technology
– Helping to design and carry out a thorough evaluation of the mental health program, focusing heavily on community perspectives with regard to what's working, what isn't, and what needs to be happening.
– Provide outreach support to trans youth in local schools
– Partner with and offer training for schools (K-12) on cultural competency for the transgender youth populations, as well as how to develop and build their own responsive, appropriate, and aware programs and opportunities for youth
